I used to have a PT-1230 and recently upgraded to this one. Nothing fancy but reasonably good. I use it mainly at school and home and I like it a lot. I would say this is another strong product from Brother offered at a very reasonable price (about half of PT-2730). If you want a professional like labeler, you may want a 2730. If you just need it for some basic job, you cannot go wrong with this one.

I love this. I've used it to label toothbrushes - ; the laminated tz tape works great for toothbrushes! Great for computer cables, Circuit Breaker switches, names on laptops when taking for repairs, Spices in the spice rack, foods in jars and many other uses. At first I thought I'd like to try the different tape colours, but now I'm sticking with plain black on white 12mm, it works for me. Nice gadget.
